The year 2022 leaves forHockey Club Lugano with news that will excite the big family bianconera.
The HCL and Daniel Carr signed a new contract valid for the next three seasons.
The 30-year-old Canadian forward born in Alberta on 01.11.1991 will therefore wear the colors bianconeri until the end of the 2024/25 championship.
Despite the two injuries that characterised his early months this season, Carr quickly became a fan favourite.
The passion and intensity of his play and his strong work ethic are rare qualities, combined with an extraordinary flair for goal, which is also evidenced by the figures: 20 games and 21 points (11 goals, 10 assists) since his arrival at Cornèr Arena in the first months of the 2020/21 championship.
In his career Carr has played 118 games in the NHL (37 points), 160 games in the top university league (NCAA, 157 points) and 253 AHL games (223 points, MVP of the 2018/19 season).
These are the words of GM Hnat Domenichelli:
"We are very happy to be able to announce the three-year contract renewal with Daniel and look forward to having him with us for the long term.
