The match schedule of the new league has been released: the National League match between SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers and ZSC Lions will open the 2022/2023 season on Wednesday, 14 September 2022. Fans will then be able to watch many matches on TV for free.
Four days after the 'season opener', the first Sunday evening game will be played. This "game of the week" will take place every week on Sunday evenings at 20:00 and will be broadcast live, in cooperation with MySports, on channel TV24 in German-speaking Switzerland and on channel Léman Bleu in French-speaking Switzerland. TeleTicino will broadcast live in Italian-speaking Switzerland at least six Sunday evening matches as well as all Ticino derbies. In addition, Blick will broadcast live streaming of an NL match every Tuesday (with commentary in German and French). The programme of the new season includes a total of 52 championship rounds, of which 15 full rounds with respectively 7 matches at the same time. The complete match schedule for the 2022/2023 season can be found here: to the calendar.
In the upcoming championship, the quarter-finals and semifinals of the playoffs will, for the first time, be split. This means that, for example, in the quarter-finals two series will be played on Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday and two series on Wednesday-Friday-Sunday. One game of each playoff round and the complete finals series will be televised free of charge. All league games will be followed, as usual with the highest quality, by MySports - whether in the regular season or playoffs or even in the playout or league qualification. MySports and all the above-mentioned media and TV partners will also offer their viewers extensive broadcasts with highlights of the matches played.
